about

Capri is a Soundscape composition that tells about a cave of Capri island coastline called Grotta Dei Marinai.

The recording was made at the end of April 2015 with unusual weather. The authors, in the first part, decided to play a percussion called "Wood String Cajon" to analize the cave reverb, than they tried percussion brush. The second part is caracterized by a recording made inside the locker of the boat to analize a sound modified by a barrier between the source and the listner.
The Aim of this work is to melt Geophonies with Anthrophonies in a special Mediterranean location.
